THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information requested will be used within the United States Department of Agriculture, (USDA), Forest Service, (FS), as market research to facilitate decision making (i.e., determining acquisition strategy, small business concerns, etc.) and will not be disclosed outside the Government. Proprietary information submitted shall be appropriately marked. Please note that USDA, FS will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. This is not a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation, and this information is subject to modification. Project Sourdough Fence Reconstruction, Dillon Ranger District, Beaverhead Deer Lodge National Forest. The FS will provide materials except those materials required for pipe braces. The work would consist of the removal and construction of 4-wire fences with associated braces and gates. NAICS The applicable NAICS code, 238990--All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, (Size Standard in millions of dollars $16.5). The acquisition strategy is not yet determined. Magnitude: $25,000 - $100,000 Responses: Interested and capable sources are encouraged to respond to this RFI with a Capability Statement and a completed Schedule of Items, (Attachment 2). Additionally, firms responding to this announcement should include company name, Unique Entity Identification, point of contact, address, and indicate whether they are a small business, 8(a) concern, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned business, HUBZone small business, small, disadvantaged business, or women-owned small business. Responses are due 23 September 2022, 1:00, PM, CDT and should be submitted to Crystal Amos, crystal.amos@usda.gov The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
