Possible abatement projects may include (but are not limited to) the following: a. Obtaining all necessary state and local permits and approvals prior to the commencement of work. Note: the Central Permit Office will issue "no cost" permits for projects funded through the Emergency Abatement Program b. Demolition of damaged interior and exterior materials; foundation leveling, repair, and/ or elevation; and structural damage repair c. Certification for work disturbing lead-based paint is required under the US EPA's Renovation, Repair and Painting rules d. Building envelop repair, including roof repair, replacement or installation and attendant damage; door and window replacement or installation; and siding / veneer repair, replacement or installation e. Mechanical (HVAC), electrical, plumbing systems, or fire alarm repair, replacement or installation f. Dry wall repair, replacement or installation; rough and trim carpentry g. Surface preparation and painting; flooring repair, replacement orinstallation h. Project close out including obtaining certificate of occupancy from applicable authorities i. Asbestos containing material mitigation; if necessary j. Exterior site work if necessary (paving, masonry, drainage, landscaping) k. Conduct any State Environmental Quality Review ("SEQRA") process in conjunction with the City including but not limited to the preparation of required reviews, impact statements or reports
