This solicitation is issued to procure Railroad Frogs and Guard Rails The Authority reserves the right to test the requested equal, in a lab environment and/or in the field, before or after award, and reject it with no obligation to receive the ordered parts in case of non-compliance, or unsatisfactory results. Bidder shall reimburse the Authority for all costs incurred including, but not limited to, the total cost of purchasing the parts including taxes, fees, and freight, internal testing costs, and any service interruptions due to inappropriate parts supplied by Bidder. Requested equal shall comply with Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) requirements Request shall include verifiable results of usage over time and field-testing results, for each item requested. Request shall include life expectancy, lifecycle costs, service requirements, and lifetime parts availability for each item requested. Request shall include any applicable certifications for each item requested. Request shall include any applicable technical and safety data sheets for each item requested.
