Scopes of work include but are not limited to construction of a new 11,000 SF building addition to include earthwork, rough grading, utility trenching and backfill, under slab radon gas mat and vent piping, concrete foundation, slab on grade, surface applied moisture mitigation system, structural steel framing, wood framing, insulation, fiber cement siding, membrane roofing, building expansion joints, sheet metal flashings and trims, interior drywall, tape & texture, HM doors and frames, aluminum storefront and glazing, VCT, carpeting, ceramic tile, casework, ceiling finishes, painting, tackable wall coverings, signage, marker boards, tack-boards, new plumbing and fixtures, fire sprinkler system, gas-fired furnaces, mechanical ducting, medium voltage electrical systems, lighting, and low voltage systems including fire alarm, paging, wireless clocks, data & telecommunications. Structural renovations, modernization and ADA upgrades to the existing gymnasium (bldg. C) and the boys and girls locker rooms. Demolition includes select structural steel cross bracing elements of the (E) roof trusses, removal of drywall and framing at the demising wall between the gym and the locker room areas (only at the truss framing elevation), demo the drywall ceilings in the locker rooms to access the structural renovation work above. Existing footings to receive concrete structural upgrades. Locker room areas to receive partition wall renovations, new drywall ceilings and patch-back, new lockers, and new floor and wall finishes, including ceramic tile. Site improvements include hard demolition/razing of several small modular building structures and foundations, construction of a new masonry trash enclosure with a comp-shingle roof, new asphalt paving, grind and overlay of existing asphalt, parking lot stripping, signage, concrete curbs, gutters and sidewalks.
