Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kerrville, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 69,000-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of March 8, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, information regarding the awarded general contractor and contract award amount have not been confirmed at this time. The City of Kerrville ("City") extends this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") to solicit a Statement of Qualification ("SOQ") from any interested party ("Proposer") for Design-Build ("DB") Services ("Services") for a new Public Safety Facility ("Project"). The Project will consist of the new construction of a 69,000+/- SF structure on a greenfield site that will include offices and ancillary spaces for police and fire administration staff. A municipal court will also be located within this facility. All direct questions about the meaning or intent regarding this RFQ and Project shall be submitted through the portal. The City of Kerrville shall not be responsible for any communication between any employee of the City, City Official, or Owner's Representative and any potential DB Team Member. Responses that include cost or pricing information will be rejected and will not be considered by the City. The deadline to ask questions is 10/14/2022 3:00 PM CST The estimated budget for the design and construction of the project is forty million dollars ($40,000,000) and the expected date for project completion is Fall 2024.
