The primary clarifiers are 125-ft long by 20-ft wide with an 18.75-ft side wall depth. Each basin is outfitted with longitudinal sludge/scum collectors, sludge cross collectors, and helical scum skimmers that were originally installed in 1985. Project Scope: The rehabilitation Project includes the following: o Replace existing longitudinal and cross collector mechanisms, helical scum skimmer, deteriorated launder troughs, and in-basin piping in Clarifier 1 through Clarifier 6. o Replace corroded electrical cabinet, conduits, and circuits in Primary Building. o Demolish existing abandoned HVAC equipment including hydronic heating system components. o Provide new HVAC air supply fans in Primary Building. o Provide combustible gas detection and alarming for Primary Building. o Replace door frames, doors, and hardware in Primary Building. o Repair substantial portions of existing primary influent channel and interior clarifier walls, floor, and head space of Clarifier 1 through Clarifier 6, by removing deteriorated concrete surface and providing new concrete repair products.
