As of December 1, 2022. Project was awarded to the FF: General Construction Nastase Construction $793290 Electrical Construction Strouse Electric, Inc. $44680 Governors Park Baseball Field Renovation - Demo and rebuild baseball infield to improve drainage and provide synthetic turf. Entire field will be rotated 6 degrees counter clockwise around home plate to avoid existing rock outcropping currently interfering with the game. Demolish and rebuild the two dugouts and add spectators' seating (bleachers & bucket seating), new press box building, bullpens, fencing, backstop, flag poles, relocated foul poles and provide new conduit to existing scoreboard ADA SCOPE: The renovation costs used to calculate the amount dedicated to accessibility improvements are as follows: Cost of rebuilding 2 dugouts ADA accessible to field-TBD Cost of the spectators seats plus installation-TBD The press box itself will be 12 ft above grade to take advantage of the exception for accessibility. The cost of the field upgrade and of the new press box is not included. The 20% of the cost calculated above will be used for the following accessibility improvements: Creating an accessible route connecting one of the dugouts, the baseball field, and the spectators seats. The accessible route also includes accessible seating near the spectators' seats and companion seating. The Borough of Bellefonte will receive sealed bids for the new Governors Park Baseball Field project. Bids shall be submitted in duplicate and mailed or delivered in a sealed envelope. The face of the envelope shall be clearly marked with the words "Governors Park Baseball Field" and also marked with the name of the contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in accordance with the bid documents. All bidders must submit each bid with the understanding that the Owner will require a Performance, Labor and Material Payment and Maintenance Bonds as specified. The cost of the required bonds shall be included in the Base Bid. The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry has issued a Prevailing Wage Determination for this project. All bids will be in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Determination. Time is of the essence in the work. Requirements with regard to completion of portions of the work are contained in the Project Manual. The Borough of Bellefonte reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive irregularities in the bids.
