Water Street, Windsor, NC 27983, Bertie County, NC.. 1.2 Purpose/End Application: Gravel overlay is needed to build up and stabilize portion of Rainbow Road. The road has deep ruts and is unstable. Rainbow Road is the only road that gives access to that section of the Refuge and will be used during timber harvesting. The road is frequently used by biological staff and hunters. 1.3 Contractor Qualifications: Contractor should be familiar with repairing roads that frequently flood. 1.4 Other: N/A 2. Place of Performance and Period of Performance: 2.1 Work will be done on Main Broadneck Road, beginning at the yellow entrance gate on the Town Swamp Unit of the Refuge outside Windsor, NC 27983. 2.2 Normal duty hours Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. In the event of emergencies, Contractor shall provide contact information. 2.3 Non duty hours include week nights, weekends, and Government holidays (New Year's Day, Martin Luther King JR.s's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day). 3.
