City of Livermore (City) is requesting qualified Contractors to submit proposals including a pricing schedule and a summary of
qualifications for providing landscape maintenance services according to the City's specifications and all other
terms and conditions. The requested services consist of furnishing all labour, materials, supplies and equipment
to perform landscape maintenance services in the City, in accordance with the specifications and conditions
specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the City. Documents are available online at
www.publicpurchase.com under City of Livermore, the vendor must sign up to be a vendor under City of
Livermore at no cost, all addendums to the bid will be sent to vendors through this system. All questions
should be asked through the Public Purchase system under the question-and-answer section, with exception of
any items covered at the pre-proposal conference. All proposals must be submitted on the form(s) provided,
enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly identified with RFP number and title, name of bidder and date of
opening to preclude premature opening. completion of both tours, a conference where issues of special concern to Contractors and questions will be
answered. Attendance at the tour and the conference is mandatory. All Contractors must have a
representative at the start of the tour and post-tour conference to submit a proposal. Proposals will not be
accepted from any Contractor who does not attend the pre-proposal conference and tour. The pre-proposal
tour and conference will begin at the Maintenance Service Centre at 3500 Robertson Park Road, Livermore, CA
94550 at 8:00 a.m. Contractors will need to provide their own transportation from the Maintenance Service
Centre to BOTH CFDs. The landscape site for the El Charon CFD will be at the intersection of El Charro Road
and Jack London Blvd. in Livermore, CA 94550 and the landscape site for the Brisa CFD will be at the north and
south sides of Brisa Street east of Vasco Road in Livermore, CA 94550. 3 LOCATION OF THE WORK: The
maintenance services work to be completed hereunder for the El Charon CFD is generally located near the
intersection of El Charon Road and Jack London Boulevard in the City of Livermore, California. See Appendix A

California. See Appendix B for area descriptions. 4 DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The work consists of furnishing
all labour, materials, supplies and equipment to perform the landscape maintenance services in the City of
Livermore in accordance with the City of Livermore's Maintenance Specifications. 5 COMPLETION OF WORK:
The term of the agreement shall be from December 1, 2022, through November 30, 2027, with an option for
one (1) five year extension. 6 CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE CLASSIFICATION: Contractor shall possess a valid Class
C27 Contractor license at the time of submitting a proposal to the City and the license must remain valid for the
duration of the contract. Failure to possess a valid license shall render the proposal as non-responsive. RATE REQUIREMENTS: State: In accordance with the provisions of California Labour Code Sections 1770, 1773,
1773.1, 1773.6 and 1773.7 as amended, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations has determined
the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in accordance with the standards set forth in Section 1773 for
the locality in which the work is to be performed. It shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the work
is awarded and upon any subcontractor under the Contractor to pay not less than said specified rates to all
workers employed by them in the execution of the work. 8 Responses will be in the form of written addenda to the contract documents, if necessary. The City of
Livermore reserves the right to award or reject proposals in part or in whole and on any basis, it deems in the
best interest of the City. This RFP will be awarded to the vendor whose response represents the "Best Value" to
the City of Livermore. Pursuant to Municipal Code Section 2.68.360 (A) (5) which can be found on the City of
Livermore's website. Reference is hereby made to said specifications for further details which specifications,
general conditions, and this "Notice Inviting Proposals" shall be considered part of any contract made pursuant
thereto.
