Site work for a water / sewer project in Birchwood, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Remove trees, shrubs, grass and other vegetation, improvements or obstructions that interfere with new construction. Removal includes new and old tree stumps and their roots. Fill and compact to a density equal to adjacent original ground all depressions cause by clearing and grubbing unless further excavation or earthwork is indicated. Excavate 30W X 25L X 6 area for new concrete slab for boat ramp. Install 8 of compacted sub-grade and 4 of (General Aggregate Base Course) compacted and leveled to match the existing grade of the ramp. Sub-grade shall be raised as needed to match existing subgrade of the existing ramp. Construct a concrete form to create the new cement slab. Install 6x6 wire mesh in the form and pour fiber reinforced concrete with a min 4000 psi. Project begin date December 2023 and project completion date April 30, 2024 For specifications, please visit the county website at www.meigscounty.org or contact the Finance Office @ 423-334-5846.
