Village Hall and Police Department Renovation Project - Bid Package No. 8 - Electrical The Project can generally be described as the renovation of the existing Village Hall and Police Department and associated site work on LaFox Rd Campton Hills, IL. Laub Construction, Inc. will serve as the Construction Manager for the Project. Upon the award of Electrical Trade contract to complete the various divisions of work on the Project, such contracts will be assigned by the Village to Laub Construction, Inc. This bid period will include Bid Package Bid Package #8 Electrical. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check equal to 10% of the base bid must be submitted with the bid. Bid security shall be made payable to the Village of Campton Hills Sealed bid proposals shall be contained in an opaque sealed envelope titled "Sealed Bid - Village of Campton Hills, Village Hall & Police Department Renovation. Electronic bids will not be accepted. It is anticipated that the award of the contracts for the Project will be made by the Village Board of Trustees on or around October 7, 2022 F. Union or Prevailing Wages must be paid on all work performed on the Project. A current Prevailing Wage Schedule for Kane County prepared by the Illinois Department of Labor is available for review. Bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. All contractors intending to bid on this project must have an A305 prequalification statement submitted to Laub Construction, Inc. by September 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. The Village of Campton Hills reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities, informalities, technicalities, and other nonmaterial variances contained in any bid proposal.
