MOD 2 UPDATED STATEMENT OF WORK ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ MOD 1 TO EXTEND THE RFQ DUE DATE TO 10/19/2022 New Constuction Project- Furnish all necessary labor, materials/supplies, equipment, services, and supervision necessary to accomplish all tasks for the completion of the work set forth in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) to install and purchase a standby generator for Building 2 at the Lake Michigan Field Station (government owned facility). 100% Small Business Set-Aside per FAR Part 13 under the SAT. Firm Fixed Priced contract will be awarded per the tradeoff criteria in CAR 1352.213-70. Vendors must provide all documents listed in 1352.213-70 to be eligible for award. See attached full Construction Clauses and Provisions with all terms and conditions which all vendors must be in compliance with to be eligible for award. New contract, no incumbent. REQUISITION/PURCHASE REQ NRMAF00023000X Scope: This procurement is to install and buy a generator for the Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory. 5. Objectives: This backup generator will ensure that the boiler heater will continue to operate during winter power outage events and power will remain on to freezers holding fish samples during all seasons. It will also serve as a standby generator. It will also allow on-site staff to remain working to meet operational demands in the event of a power outage. This 24KW generator will be able to power most circuits in bldg. 2. 6. Tasks: Install at a minimum (1) 24KW, air-cooled, automatic standby propane generator on a concrete pad, permanent site. Connect generator to propane tank and meter. Install automatic 200 amp transfer switch and connect generator to electrical panels (2 each) and existing wiring. 250 amp, 240/120 volt electrical service. Annual preventive maintenance visit per year with all parts/Labor included. This will be paid separately outside the warranty period, utilizing a government purchase card as the payment vehicle. Prior to installation, the contractor shall submit for approval the following: 1. Required permits for commercial installation of standby power installations. 2. Evidence of compliance with electrical and gas utility company requirements. 3. Drawings of interconnections with existing gas utilities and electrical distribution panels and associated interconnections. 4. Drawing of installation site plan with generator location and required setbacks from exiting installations, windows, doors and walkways.
