Site work for a municipal facility in John Day, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

As of 11/30, this project is awaiting timeline approvals per the owner. This project consist of constructing 165' of variable height (2' to 5') poured in place concrete retaining, removal of 50' of existing wall and hauling and placing approximately 750 yards of clean, approved fill material. The project bid consists of, but may not be limited to, the following unit cost items: Mobilization, Lump Sum; General Excavation (footing): Cu. Yards Imported Fill Material: Cu. Yards Cast in Place Concrete Retaining Wall : Lump Sum Remove Existing Retaining Wall (50'): Lump Sum This is a Grant County Transportation District/The People Mover Project by and through the Grant County Transportation District, funded through a Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund (STIF) Discretionary Grant, and is subject to the current Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) Prevailing Wage Rates. The District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the District that it is in the public interest to do so. The bidder must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board. Estimated Cost Range: $80,000 to $90,000 A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount is required with the proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of the contract bid amount will be required of the successful bidder. The District will award the contract at their board meeting scheduled for October 11 at p.m. at the John Day Fire Hall. Contract Work will commence on or after October 15, 2022. The contractor shall complete all work required in the contract on or before November 30, 2022. The contractor will not be required to have an asbestos abatement license under ORS 468A.720.
