Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Doylestown, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Columbia County (County) hereby requests sealed bids for constructing a bridge with dimensions of 45'L x 12'W, for snowmobile use to cross an unnamed creek, as defined in Grant #S-5691. The current bridge is unusable. All general conditions and special conditions of the grant shall apply, a copy of the grant #S-5691 can be requested from Columbia County Land and Water Conservation Department. In accordance with Wisconsin Statutes Section 779.14(1m)(e), Bonds are required for the work. A 5% Bid Bond shall be delivered with the Bid on the date due. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be executed along with the awarded Contract to the lowest responsible Bidder; forms included within the Bid Specifications. Exceptions to this requirement may exist in certain situations where the County purchases materials directly or project costs are within specific thresholds. Installation and completion of this bridge project must take place before grant period expires on June 30, 2024 County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and is not bound to accept any bid if that bid is contrary to the best interest of Columbia County. County will award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder. Bid Bond: 5%
