Site work for a development in Reserve, New Mexico. Working plans call for site work for a development.
Introduction. The USDA Forest Service, Gila National Forest, Reserve Ranger District has a requirement for Willow Creek Restoration project, Ben Lilly Campground, Catron County, New Mexico, 87830. Project consists of using heavy equipment that (outside designated Wilderness Area) may include backhoe, dump truck, excavator with thumb, front end loader, and hydraulic post hole digger. This equipment would be used only as necessary to move and/or place large material in channel according to design specifications. All necessary permits would be secured with US Army Corps of Engineers for work conducted within the ordinary high-water mark. 2. Type of Award. As a result of this solicitation, the Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract using FAR 15 Request For Quotation (RFQ) Lowest Price Technically Acceptable format. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside to NAICS code 237990 $39.5 Million is the maximum size standard to qualify as small business. PSC code Z1PC. To be eligible for award of a Federal contract, potential vendors, at time of award, need to have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) . 3. Basis for Award - See Section M (last section of this document). 4. How to submit your offer. Submit RFQ pages 3 through 5 as your business (schedule of items) proposal. In a separate document, submit all the information requested in Section M as your technical proposal. Deadline for submission of offers shall be September 23, 2022, Noon (Pacific Daylight Time - matches time zone in advertisement in SAM). Responses to the RFQ shall be sent to the Contract Specialist by email before the Noon deadline and should contain the Solicitation Number in the subject line for the email. PROJECT LOCATON AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Location: The project is located on the Gila National Forest, Reserve Ranger District. To reach Willow Creek: From Reserve, NM take State Highway 435 going south for 6.5 miles until you reach FSR 141. Follow FSR 141 for approximately 30 miles going east until you reach FSR 28. Follow FSR 28 going south for approximately 15 miles to reach County Road 073. Follow County Road 073 for about a mile and you will reach the Ben Lilly Campground reach of the Willow Creek Restoration Project. Under normal conditions the project area is accessible with a 2-wheel drive vehicle. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to determine the most suitable route to the project area. All the transportation of equipment, personnel, and supplies will also be the responsibility of the contractor. Period of Performance: Work shall start sometime after October 1, 2022 and shall completed before September 30, 2024. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The solicitation for Willow Creek Restoration was cancelled. The project will be re-advertised at a future date with new solicitation number
