A discussion of the firms qualifications and ability to provide the requested services to complete the proposed project. Describe any equipment to be installed and experience that would contribute to successful execution of the work, especially projects/contracts of similar nature. Description of work shall be limited to an equivalent of three single sided pages. The City's broadcast room has the rack, power, and cabling required to support digital transmission, and additional space to accommodate new equipment. Most of the electrical and low voltage cabling should be in place, but there may be some additional runs of cabling into ancillary areas where the meetings will be broadcast (i.e. different tables in the Council Chambers, and the adjacent conference room). Please note any cabling and/or electrical work shall only be performed with appropriately licensed contractors. The new system should meet the following objectives: o Furnishing and installing audio/video and control systems for the Council Chambers and Conference room o Improved audio capabilities o New microphones will be used for local sound, audio conferencing, recording, and distribution to broadcast. o Improved reliability o Improved ease of use o Integrate with the existing Streaming/Broadcasting system (WireCast) o Ability to host hybrid meetings where the council members and/or public may participate in meetings in-person or over video conferencing (Zoom) or any combination thereof o Ability to receive phone calls from the public and feed the call through the Council Chambers audio system while preventing any audio feedback. o The system shall provide a live un-delayed video and audio feed to the adjacent conference room.
