Renovation of a residential development in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a six-unit residential development.
The Stoughton Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the 705-2 Roof Replacement, #285093 in Stoughton, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by RGB Architects. The Project consists of: the removal of existing asphalt shingle roofing systems at 6 housing units and 7 sheds down to the sheathing and replacement with new 50-year asphalt shingles complete with rubberized membrane and flashings. Aluminum gutters and downspouts are also to be removed and replaced on the 6 housing units. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Stoughton Housing Authority.' Plan deposits may be electronically paid or by check. This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general bidders and for one set for sub-bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty (30) days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the Awarding Authority. Additional sets may be purchased for $50.00 Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $ 40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight), non- refundable, payable to the Portal., to cover mail handling costs.
