Proposals will be received by the West Virginia Parkways Authority Tree Cutting and Brush Removal All work under this contract shall be completed by March 31st, 2023. The general work areas are listed below with approximate acres of tree cutting and/or brush removal as specified in the contract: Area 1: Mile Post 37.54 to 37.69 SB Area: 2.57 Acres Area 2: Mile Post 37.59 to 37.85 SB Area: 2.86 Acres Area 3: Mile Post 37.88 to 37.99 SB Area: 1.54 Acres Results may also be heard via teleconference by dialing this number and entering the participant code: (866)-551-1530, 4712769#. No bids will be received after the scheduled opening. Prospective bidders must be prequalified in accordance with SECTION 102.1 of the WVDOH Standard Specifications. Proposals must be made via electronically in the manner designated in the specifications, and must be accompanied by a CASHIER'S or CERTIFIED CHECK or BID BOND in favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, FOR AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF THE AMOUNT OF THE PROPOSAL OR $2,000 WHICHEVER IS THE GREATER, and must be delivered to the office of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, Administration Building, 3310 Piedmont Road, Charleston, West Virginia 25306 on or before the day and hour named. Bid bonds may instead be submitted electronically via electronically. ANY BID THAT IS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY A BID BOND DELIVERED ELECTRONICALLY VIA electronically OR A CASHIER'S CHECK, A CERTIFIED CHECK, OR A BID BOND DELIVERED AT THE PLACE DESIGNATED ABOVE ON OR BEFORE THE DAY AND HOUR NAMED WILL BE CONSIDERED IRREGULAR. All bids submitted by bidders who have been debarred or declared ineligible by the Director of the Purchasing Division shall be rejected.
