All Work shall be performed by contractors licensed with the city where the workis totakeplace.Bidders shall determine licensing requirements prior to bidding. The Contractor shall carry Builders Risk Insurance. The Work includes but is not limited to the renovation of an existing consultationroomintheAll Care Health Center Office. Materials include gypsum board assemblies, casework and counters, painting, wall protection panels, APC ceilings, and wood doors with hollowmetal frames. Modifications to the existing mechanical and electrical systems are also included in the work. A 5% bid bond is required. No bidder may withdraw their proposal within 60 days after the bid opening. A 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required. he Contractor and all personnel to be working onsite are required to be vaccinatedfor COVID-19. The earliest completion date is very important to the Owner. The Contractor agrees that thework can begin immediately and that the project be complete by February 28, 2023. If theContractor shall fail to do so, the Contractor agrees to pay the Owner as liquidated damages andnot asa penalty, the sum of $500 for each and every calendar day that the Contractor is indefaultof substantial completion of the work under this Contract. There is a limit of 1 (one) set per planholder. Additional setsmaybe purchased. Refundable deposit checks, payable to HGMAssociates Inc., may be cashedandthe funds held by HGM Associates Inc. Interested bidders should contact StandardDigital Imaging to request plans be printed and available for pickup. Plans must be returned to Standard Digital within 30 calendar days fromthe biddate. Afterplans have been returned in good condition, a new check will be issued to the plan holder. Shippingand handling costs are not refundable. NOTE: Builders Cards will be accepted.
