Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ……………….. RFP Engineering - Clayton Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project. The CITY will competitively solicit proposals and award a contract to the CONSULTANT with the most demonstrated competence and professional experience. No proposal will be accepted from or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears; or is in default to the CITY upon any debt or contract; or that is a defaulter, as surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the CITY; or has failed to faithfully perform any previous contract with the CITY. Clayton Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project (Project No. 2609) scope includes preparing bid documents (PS&E), as well as assistance with public outreach, and providing support during construction. Project No. 2609 will involve pavement rehabilitation on Clayton Road, from Maynard Street to the city limits at the City of Clayton. Work will also include installation/upgrades of curb ramps at intersections/crossings, adjustment of utilities, restriping, and installation of bike lanes, buffers, and high visibility cross walks as shown on the Bike and Pedestrian Safe Routs to Transit Master Plan. The estimated useful life of pavement rehabilitation shall be 15-20 years. Design scope of Project No. 2609 will also include analyzing the existing conceptual designs, and developing additional conceptual design options.
