The goal of this Project is to remove all existing internally illuminated street name signs at the signalized intersections citywide and replace with upgraded internally illuminated light emitting diode (LED) sign hardware, and to also remove and replace the existing traffic signal safety lights with new LED light fixtures. As part of the sign replacement, the panel design will also be updated to the latest design, which features the Citys windmill logo and a white highway gothic typeface over a green background. All of the existing sign and lighting hardware shall be disposed of by the Contractor as part of this Project. There are sixty-six (66) interconnected signalized intersections that are maintained and operated by the City of Diamond Bar.
