Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach Community Resources Department is seeking proposals from highly qualified professional consultants for the preparation and development of a Parks and Recreation Master Plan as detailed in the Request for Proposal (RFP) No proposals will be accepted after the listed date and time. All proposals must be clearly marked with the project title and RFP number and submitted in a sealed envelope. Failure to identify the proposal on the envelope may result in disqualification of the proposal. The format, content, and procedures for submitting a proposal are provided in further detail within the RFP. Proposals will not be opened at that time but will be submitted to the Community Resources Department for verification and compliance with Specifications and subsequent recommendation to City Council for award of a contract or rejection of the responses, as deemed appropriate. The City reserves the right to make no award. Proposals received after the deadline will be considered late. Such proposals may be returned unopened. Faxed or emailed proposals are not acceptable. The deadline to submit written questions is Wednesday, October 5 at 6:00 p.m. PST. Please direct any inquiries regarding this RFP to the Project Manager at parksmasterplan@hermosabeach.gov. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
