The Samares School Service Center is a public primary, secondary and vocational training organization. As part of the Connected Villages programme, it has had a fiber optic network built with public and private partners which covers the whole of its territory. The Center de services scolaire des Samares, CS Scolaire Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier, MRC Montcalm, MRC d'Autray, MRC Matawinie, Bande Passante Inc. (MASKATEL), College Esther-Blondin, College Champagneur and the Atikamekw Council of Manawan are joint owners of a GLOBAL NETWORK of optical fibers whose management methods are governed by an Agreement between the owners of a GLOBAL NETWORK of optical fibers. To do this, it wishes to entrust a firm specializing in this field with the following duties according to TWO (2) components: Component A: set up a telephone call center to answer service calls, and this for the entire network: backbone and ACCESS except inside buildings; Part B: carry out, when required, repairs, improvements or additions to the network and this on the basis of fee-for-service based on agreed-upon unit prices.
