The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) hereby invites submissions from Electrical Contractors to pre-qualify to provide bids on small electrical repairs, maintenance and various electrical projects for the period beginning January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2025. Only the approved pre-qualified Electrical Contractors will be eligible to submit bids in accordance with the various Capital projects. This pre-qualification applies to various Electrical projects which may be bid directly to the DSBN by Electrical Contractors as well as work to be tendered to General Contractors as Sub-Contractors. Respondent(s) who have previously been qualified to provide the services described herein, or who are currently performing work for the DSBN must also respond to this request to be considered for future work assignments. Electrical Contractors will be pre-qualified under three different categories based on Electrical project value: Category A - Small projects less than $25,000 Category B - Medium projects between $25,000 and $600,000 Category C - Large projects over $600,000 The DSBN shall pre-qualify Electrical Contractors for either or all categories based on the Contractor's relevant experience and their references provided. The following are representative of the services which may be required: -Lighting replacement; -Disconnect/connection of equipment; -Electrical equipment upgrades; -Portable classroom installations; -Fire Alarm repairs/upgrades. The DSBN will pre-qualify approximately 8 licensed Electrical Contractors to perform electrical repairs, installations and maintenance at DSBN facilities, on an "as needed" basis for projects valued less than $25,000. The DSBN Facility Services Department will select Electrical Contractors in rotation for the projects on a time and materials basis on blanket purchase orders. The DSBN reserves the right to assign occasional special projects on the basis of "best fit" of expertise and services required as determined solely by the DSBN at its sole discretion. Offers of work will be on a rotational basis, where practical. Category B - Medium projects between $25,000 and $600,000 The following contractors have PREQUALIFIED: BCR Electric Ltd; Cahill Electric Ltd; Ecco Electric Ltd; LJ Barton Mechanical Ltd; Mario's Electric Ltd; Sam Young Electric; T Lloyd Electric Ontario Ltd; Verhoef Electric (2012) Inc. Category C - Large projects over $600,000 The following contractors have PREQUALIFIED: BCR Electric Ltd; Cahill Electric Ltd; Ecco Electric Ltd; LJ Barton Mechanical Ltd; Mario's Electric Ltd; T Lloyd Electric Ontario Ltd; Verhoef Electric (2012) Inc.
