Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
BC Parks is requesting qualified trail builders to design and build a multi-use trail within Martha Creek Provincial Park. The scope includes a 2.5km (+/-) machine built multi-use trail, which would include novice (Green Circle) bike skill features. The vertical relief of the area where the trail will be located is ~ 19 meters, and the total area available is ~ 6.5ha. Where required, uphill and downhill turns would have banked berms (complex corners), the total number of complex corners would depend on the agreed upon design (20 complex corners estimated). The design would also include ~ 20 bike skill features (TTF's) where the natural terrain would allow the features to fit with ride arounds. Novice bike skill features will include rollers, embedded rollable objects & low log rides / ladder bridges. The trail would be machine built with an average trail tread width of 60cm (wider in TTF sections), depending on terrain. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca.
