Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Golden, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Camp George West is a historic, 47-acre site originally established in 1903 as a Colorado National Guard training center. Presently, the site is owned and managed by the State of Colorado and contains over 60 buildings occupied by various State agencies. Considering the age of the buildings and related infrastructure, deferred maintenance upgrades are necessary for the site's continued operation. The primary objectives for Phase I of this project include water utility replacement and site drainage improvements Phase 1 Improvements include but are not limited to: 1. Replacement of site pavement, driveways, curb/gutter, sidewalk, and building entry steps. 2. Demo portions of existing domestic water infrastructure and install new water lines, valves, meters, fire hydrants, etc. as indicated. 3. Site drainage improvements 4. Implementation and maintenance of Erosion & Sediment Control Plan.
