TM #186-00-00-044 Site improvements for an approximately 3.5 acre area to construct a 7,290 square foot Fire Station at 2521 Highway 1 North in Cassatt, SC 29032. There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting at 10am on Thursday, October 6, 2022 in the Kershaw County Government Center, at 515 Walnut Street, Camden SC 29020. Construction of a 7,290 square foot fire station on site. Building includes a 1,949 sf living quarters living space, a 4,185 sf apparatus bay, a 578 sf work room, and a 578 sf storage area above the work room. Construction of the driveway and parking area. Building will utilize CMU asthe exterior wall, metal roofing and a concrete basemat. County has received the septic tank permit. This project includes installing all support systems; connecting the building system to the site infrastructure; and testing all systems to ensure that they operate correctly. Contractor is responsible for completing all work necessary to turn the site and facility over to the County for operation. Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, installation and supervision required. County will purchase and have installed all kitchen appliances work room equipment, and laundry equipment.
