the Village of Westmont, Illinois, acting through the Department of Public Works, will receive bids for Cyclic Parkway Tree Pruning up. Description of Work The proposed work is officially known as "Cyclic Parkway Tree Pruning". The Village of Westmont is seeking a Contractor to perform area-wide block-cyclic pruning of parkway trees in the winter or 2022 and spring of 2023. The duration of the contract runs from October 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023. Qualification of Bidders Bidders shall: o Have adequate equipment and employ adequate staff to accomplish the work specified. o Have an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist on site supervising the work at all times. o Have a minimum of three (3) successful municipal pruning projects (s) in northeast Illinois (Cook, DuPage, McHenry, Lake, Kane, Kendall, Will, or DeKalb Counties) completed within the last five (5) years. o Be able to document and provide current references for the above. Prospective bidders must submit any questions via email to jyeater@westmont.il.gov no later than 11:00 AM, October 3, 2022. Questions submitted after the deadline will not be answered.
