Sealed bids may be delivered in-person or by private carrier to the City c/o Brandy Rowbotham at 410 N. Broadway, Siloam Springs, Arkansas; or mailed to the City c/o Brandy Rowbotham at P.O. Box 80, Siloam Springs, Arkansas 72761, in an envelope marked as follows: "Sealed Bid Enclosed - Lake Francis Street Rebuild". The sealed bids must be received prior to the above date and time. The scope of work includes the demolition and reconstruction of approximately 2,200 linear feet of existing street, including side streets and residential driveways, with a relocation of approximately 500 linear feet of Lake Francis Street. Storm sewer and pedestrian improvements are also proposed as part of this project. In order to perform public work, the successful Bidder shall, as applicable, hold such Contractor's and Business Licenses as required by State statutes and the Rules and Regulations of the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board. The City shall open and compare the bids and thereafter award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, but only if it is in the opinion of the City that the best interests of the City would be served thereby. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed 90 days from the bid opening date.
