Vendors requesting clarifications to this Invitation to Bid may submit in writing questions for official response by the University. Questions should be sent via email to Evan Riddell at evan.riddell@louisville.edu no later than 2:00 PM, EST on 10/3/2022. The University of Louisville Procurement Services, on behalf of Physical Plant (PPD), will receive base bid proposals for upgrading the mechanical, HVAC, electrical and controls. Some minor architectural work is also required. The scope of work includes removal of existing air handling units. Installation of 2 new air handling units with Variable Air Volume (VAV) reheat terminals and adjustment of associated ductwork and piping as needed. Installation of new energy recovery ventilator. Cleaning of the existing HVAC systems and ductwork being reused. Rebalancing of existing registers, grilles and diffusers being reused. Installation of new chilled and hot water pumps. Installation of new heat recovery chiller.
