Snow Removal Bids must include all labor and equipment costs to perform the work. The Township will purchase salt directly from a provider. Bids must provide for salt storage. Bids must provide for the removal of snow and ice from 23 miles of township roads which have required an average of 340 hours of snow/ice removal and the spreading of 90 tons of salt per season. Bids must specify equipment to be used. The Township will consider bids submitted as a flat fee, unit cost or combination thereof. The Township will consider bids submitted requiring as initial payment of not more than six thousand ($6,000.00) in the period listed above against which monthly payment requests shall be credited. The successful bidder shall be required to produce a copy of current certificate of insurance to the Township. Successful bidder shall invoice the Township on a monthly basis at the contract rate itemizing date and hour of work performed and amounts of salt spread. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
