Renovation of a parking garage in London, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

Healthcare Materials Management Services (HMMS), on behalf of St. Joseph's Health Care London (SJHCL), and in particular the Facilities Management Department, is looking to establish a partnership with a preferred Proponent to act as the constructor to replace 3 elevators in the Grosvenor Parking Garage at St. Joseph's Health Care London, as outlined in the RFP documents, for HMMS04078 - SJHC London - Grosvenor St. Parking Garage Elevator Replacement. This project consists of three (3) phases: - Phase 1 includes the replacement of elevator #1 - Phase 2 includes the replacement of elevator #2 - Phase 3 includes the replacement of elevator #3 Each phase will be required to be completed prior to decommissioning the elevator in the next phase. A maximum of one elevator can be down / decommissioned at any given time while all other remaining elevators must remain operable. Project overview includes but is not limited to: A major control modernization of elevators PG-01, PG -02, and PG-03. The scope of work would include replacement of the present controller with a newer design of microprocessor-based controller, replacement of the door operator, fixture replacement, possible replacement of the levelling valve and some refurbishing or replacement of the hydraulic pump and motor. This also may require an upgrade the HVAC system or power feeder that might be necessary to comply with code as part of the elevator modernization. Where possible, the scope is to include machine room cooling, emergency power operation, hoistway repairs and modifications due to deterioration and code requirements. Wining Proponent must act as Constructor and carry all necessary trades. This RFP is for SJHCL Project Number 201234.
