*The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Request for Proposals Hicksville Downtown Revitalization Initiative Walkability, Beautification and Sense of Place Design, Bid, and Construction Inspection Services Town of Oyster Bay Procurement Policy, the Department of Public Works has issued a Request for Proposals for professional engineering services. The Town of Oyster Bay was awarded a $8.7 Million grant for downtown Hicksville from New York State through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) Program, whose goal is to transform "downtown neighborhoods into vibrant centers that offer a high quality of life and are magnets for redevelopment, business, job creation, and economic and housing diversity". Through a comprehensive planning effort, the Hicksville Downtown Revitalization Initiative - Strategic Investment Plan, accessible at electronically outlined projects to be financed through the grant which would create open space, reduce traffic impacts, and promote walkability in the project area. The subject project shall consist of Broadway Complete Street (Project Profile L) and Newbridge Road Crossing (Project Profile N - modified). If not already on file with the Town, interested firms shall submit their request along with a copy of their U.S. General Services Administration Architect-Engineer Qualifications Form SF330 (Part II only). There is no fee associated with obtaining this document. Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses are encouraged to apply This project has been selected for implementation by the Hicksville Local Planning Committee through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative, a program of the New York State Department of State and New York State Homes and Community Renewal. Responding firms must adhere to all contractual requirements of this funding program, which are detailed in the RFP document.
