CONTRACT I - LINEWORK: Construction for the Linework Contract will include: Approximately 9,500 lineal feet of 12-inch PVC and DIP force main piping for waste water; 3,950 lineal feet of 12-inch fused PVC directional bores for sewer force mains; 2,075 lineal feet of 12-inch fused PVC directional bores for water main; and 1,150 lineal feet of PVC and DIP water main. CONTRACT II - PUMP STATION: Construction for the Pump Station Contract will include: A new flood tight wet well and valve vault, raised block and masonry platform with electrical building and emergency generator; 170 lineal feet of 12-inch gravity sewer and associated manhole; 80 lineal feet of 10-inch RJPVC force main; tie-ins to existing gravity sewer and force main infrastructure; demolition of existing pump station; and landscaping. Bids must be submitted on the complete project. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to the City of New Bern Water Resources Administration Office, 527 NC Highway 55 West, New Bern, North Carolina, 28560, and the outside of the envelope must be marked "Bid for Township 7 Sewer Force Main Improvements - Contract I & II (or the Contract # for which the bid is submitted)". All bids must be made on blank forms provided and included in the bound document. The name, address, and license number with limitation and classification of the Bidder must be plainly marked thereon. The City Reserves the Right to Reject any and all bids.
