Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Scott, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Fort Scott is requesting bids for a Rock Saw Trench to be dug for the installation of a new 2" water main and *" water services. Trench is to be a minimum of 4 inches wide by 30 inches deep beginning 10 feet north of the northwest corner of the National Cemetery (900 E. National) going east approx. 740 feet then turn north for approx. 110 feet then east for approx. 50 feet ending the rear yard of 1724 S. Williams Street. Footages may vary slightly depending on terrain features and existing utilities. Installation of water main and water services will be performed by City crews. The Contractor must provide liability insurance in the amount of $500,000 plus Workers Compensation on all those who will perform work on the project.
