Mayo Substation 138 / 26 kV Phase I Construction Services Scope: The purpose of this solicitation is to select a contractor to provide a Construction Services for JEA s Mayo substation 138 / 26 kV Phase I as described herein (the Work ). This Specification document covers construction, installation, labor, equipment, and material requirements for the installation of the switchyard electrical equipment. This project consists of construction services for installation of Phase 1 of the Mayo 138/26kV Substation. The substation will be located at 0 W M Davis Pkwy 1, just east of JEA s existing San Pablo Substation and behind the Mayo Clinic campus in Jacksonville, FL 32224. A 138kV ring bus, standard 138kV/26kV 50 MVA power transformer (T1) with tap changer, and 26kV main and inspection bus will be installed in phase 1 along with provisions for a future 230kV yard connected through a 300MVA autotransformer. In addition, provisions only will be made for future installation of a standard 138kV/26kV 50 MVA power transformer (T2) with tap changer and 26kV main and inspection bus. Project scope also consists of installing a new 26kV feeder breaker at JEA s existing San Pablo Substation. Contract will encompass complete construction, from site clearing & grading to electrical construction and final rocking, paving and landscaping of an electrical substation. A more detailed description of the Work is provided in the Technical Specifications included as Appendix A to this Solicitation.
