For contracted garbage bag service for the City beginning January 1, 2023. The following requirements are to be met: -The contractor will pick up curbside throughout the entirety of Alma and all solid waste is to be placed for collection in City of Alma bags. -Minimum of a 30-gallon bag. oBags must be a minimum of one and one-half mils in thickness and of good quality. Bags shall bear clearly visible makers identifying them as City of Alma bags. -Garbage must be picked up once a week. -Certificate of Insurance submitted with bids. The City of Alma reserves the right to reject any and all Bids not in compliance with all prescribed public RFB procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any and all Bids upon the finding that it is in the public interest to do so and to waive any and all informalities in the public interest. In the award of the contract, the City will consider the element of time, will accept the Bid or Bids which in their estimation will best serve the interests of the City and will reserve the right to award the contract to the contractor whose Bid must be best for the public good.
