Renovation of a municipal facility in Bakersfield, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work to be performed consists, in general, of procuring and installing one diesel powered generator at the City Hall North parking lot. Other work items include construction of concrete pad for the generator, block wall enclosure, solid steel gate, electrical connections, appurtenances, permitting (Building and Air Pollution Control Board) and other items as necessary to have a full turnkey operation. The Contractor will be responsible for procuring the generator per the technical specifications prepared by the City of Bakersfield. Contractor is responsible for all drawings and submittals needed to receive permits from various governmental agencies. Contractor is responsible for design of concrete pad for the generator and the design for the masonry enclosure and gate. During the bidding of this project, contractors who have questions or desire clarifications about the bid documents, must submit those questions or requests for clarifications in writing using the form provided in the bid documents. Said questions and requests for clarifications must be submitted by the date identified in these special provisions.
