The Town of Hillsborough is requesting written qualifications for water system master planning. The project includes updating the town's water system hydraulic model; field verifying any questionable attributes and current operational points; adding pipes to the model that are not in the GIS; looking at population projections, known potential developments, land use and consumption records to load estimated demands at appropriate network nodes; determining appropriate level of service benchmarks and peaking factors; running current and future growth scenarios and assessing the response of the distribution system; and providing a report of the findings with a prioritized plan and cost of improvements. The project also entails looking at capacity and operational improvements at the water plant.
