Site work for a water / sewer project in Statesboro, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
There has been a history of flooding at this intersection. The City has worked with Bulloch County School Board to lessen the impact but several upgrades need to be performed. It is proposed to install larger pipes to increase the drainage flow and install curb and gutter along the south side of West Main Street from Bay Street to Foss Street. This CIP is where master planning has identified a problem to be corrected or in areas of known drainage deficiencies. This project is currently under evaluation, pending implementation of other project(s) in the area. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of September 24, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
