Webb County is seeking Competitive Sealed Proposals from qualified contractors for the renovations of an existing space on the 2nd floor of the new Webb County Sheriff's Administrative Building located on 1002 Farragut Street, Laredo, Texas. This space has been designated as the Webb County Emergency Operation Center. The existing space is a constructed of precast concrete panels and double T concrete beams and is approximately 3,400 square feet and the scope of work includes but not limited to demolition of interior walls and ceilings, removal of electrical, mechanical, sound and existing plumbing systems. The renovated space will include new mechanical and electrical distribution systems, offices, restrooms for both male and female, reception and lounge area, conference/meeting rooms and service spaces such as janitor's closet, storage, electrical/mechanical rooms. New construction will be mostly metal studs with painted gyp, board for interior partitions, ACT panels at ceiling, tile on restrooms floor and wall. Gyp board ceilings at restroom and some other areas to cover existing concrete beams.
