Fergus Falls Regional Treatment Center Phase 3 Exterior Stabilization Project In general, this Project will consist of exterior stabilization of Building 1, Building 22, Building 23, Building 24, Building 26, Building 27, Building 28, and Building 29. This will include covering ground and first floor windows and doors with treated plywood painted to match existing adjacent wall color; removal of exterior mechanical equipment, associated piping and conduits, concrete pads, and chain link fence; and adjacent equipment, electrical substation, utility tunnel between Building 25 and Building 32, removal of invasive vegetation growing next to the buildings; selective interior demolition inside Building 1 to open the main stair to floors 1 through 4; repair of asphalt shingles on Building 23, Building 27, and Building 29; replacement of single-ply membrane roofing system on Building 27; installation of new prefinished metal downspouts where existing downspouts are missing and addition of downspout extensions at grade to direct rainwater away from Buildings. This project will have alternates which will include mold abatement in Building 1, temporary mechanical ventilation system in Building 1, full replacement of asphalt roof shingles and underlayment on Buildings 23, 27, and 29, and removal of all window-mounted air conditioning units and housings. Indoor Air Quality Notice: The indoor air quality inside all buildings at this campus is poor. Anyone wishing to tour the interior of Building 1 or access the Building 27 flat roof during the mandatory pre-bid meeting MUST provide and wear their own N95 face mask and/or respirator while inside the buildings. BID SECURITY: No Bid will be considered which is not accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check, cashier's check, or satisfactory bid bond payable to the City of Fergus Falls in an amount of not less than 5 percent of the Bid amount. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. The City of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any minor irregularities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or bids which best serve the interest of the City of Fergus Falls.
