The Project consists of furnishing and installing 143 Kiddie Relay Module No. CO120X and Kiddie KN-COB-1C combination smoke, carbon monoxide detectors in basement. The Contractor shall be responsible for all associated permit fees. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and are subject to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all Alternates) and payable to the Holyoke Housing Authority. Labor and Materials Payment Bond: The successful General Bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Performance Bond: The successful General Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The cost of each bond shall be included in the bid price. Bonds shall be with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and be acceptable to the Holyoke Housing Authority.
