Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; 1,500-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; and pipeline.
Major Requirements Associated With This Project Are: 1. Site Preparation and Grading 2. Installation of Foundation 3. Provide and Erect 30'x50' Metal Shop Building 4. Rough-in Plumbing 5. Electrical 6. Propane Gas Tank Installation With Service Line Contractor's Bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total maximum Bid Price, payable without recourse to the Heber Springs Housing Authority - Heber Springs, Arkansas, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract and execute Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. The Notice of Award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) calendar days following the opening of Bids. All bids are subject to the conditions of- Information for Bidders of the contract documents. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond upon the forms provided each in the amount of One Hundred (100) Percent of the Contract Price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to Heber Springs Housing Authority. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirement as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wages to be paid under the Contract as incorporated in these Specifications. Bidders are cautioned that Bids for this Project are subject to compliance with Arkansas Law for construction of Public Works as found in Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-101, etc. The Bidder shall thoroughly acquaint himself and comply with the provisions of these Acts. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in Bids received. Plans and Specifications will not be sent without first receiving payment.
