The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission DBA U.S. Space & Rocket Center seeks sealed bids for the construction of a 694 Foot Access Drive to connect existing paved access road to new parking lot that is being built as part of the New Space Camp Operations Building, currently under construction. The complete access road project consists of several components that includes, but not limited to the following: Demolition of existing gravel road. a) Removal of topsoil b) Chain link perimeter fence c) Trees and bushes Site Preparations a) Locate and preserve all utility lines in the construction area. b) Locate and preserve any existing storm drain lines. c) Identify, barricade, and protect all surrounding areas. Erosion and Sediment Control Measures. a) Disturbed area for this project is approximately .62 acres.
