Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project to be completed involvesthe renovation of the playing fields and surfaces, which shall include but not be limited to, the following work. a. i. Remove and dispose of existing turfgrass based on the square footage shown in Exhibits A, B, C, and D. ii. Exhibits C and D turfgrass removal shall be 5 feet wide off the clay edge for lip renovation. iii. The City will provide the irrigation services. b. i. Distribute 90/10 rootzone mix evenly on each field (Fields 1 and 2). ii. 90/10 rootzone mix, estimated at 225 tons per acre, will be provided by the City. c. Roto-till soil to blend 90/10 rootzone mix into existing soil. d. Laser-grade 90/10 rootzone mix (the use of a skid steer is not acceptable). e. Furnish and install certified Latitude-36 Bermuda turfgrass based on the square footage shown in Exhibits A, B, C, and D. f. Roll Latitude-36 Bermuda turfgrass to finish. g. Laser-grade infield clay and tie into newly installed turfgrass (the City will provide the clay). h. Laser-grade warning tracks to tie into infield clay. Renovation of Fields at Lake Catherine Sports Complex The City needs a contractor to renovate two baseball playing fields at Lake Catherine Sports Complex. Must be completed in 60 calendar days.
