The project area is located at the convergence of San Marco Avenue, W San Carlos Avenue and May Street (SR A1A). The City of St. Augustine reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all respondents, to waive any informality in or to reject any or all of Bids if deemed to be in its best interest. The May Street Intersection is an important gateway entrance for St. Augustine's historic downtown and a vital nexus for mobility within its urban fabric. The Base Bid requirements include site preparation and the installation of new landscape and irrigation materials. In addition, there are three different Additive Alternates to be considered which include additional site preparation, landscape, hardscape, irrigation, and landscape lighting improvements. All work included within the Base Bid and Additive Alternates (if awarded) are to be completed while maintaining proper Temporary Traffic Control measures throughout the installation process.Every request for a written interpretation or correction must be received at least nine (9) days prior to opening of bids in order to be considered by October 10, 2022.
