Site work for a water / sewer project in Columbus Grove, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of 10/6/2022 There were no bids. The projects will be re-bid. Bids must be submitted on the forms bound in the Bidding Document; must contain the names of every person or company interested therein; and shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond with satisfactory corporate surety in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. Special Attention Must Be Given to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual opening thereof. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the County. The NPDES aeration unit may discharge to the existing catch basin at the southwest corner of CR 257 and CR 109, or a new catch basin may be installed on the south side of CR 109 closer to the existing aeration unit. A new outlet pipe must be installed from the NPDES aeration unit to the catch basin. The existing aeration unit must be properly abandoned. The awarded contractor must obtain a permit from the Hancock County Engineers Office to access the existing catch basin or install a new catch basin. See the attached map for confirmation of a roadside tile on the south side of CR 109. The awarded contractor will be required to pay the $200 NOI fee for the NPDES permit to the Ohio EPA and the $403 septic replacement permit fee to Hancock Public Health.
