The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) hereby invites submissions from Mechanical Contractors to pre-qualify to provide bids on small mechanical repairs, maintenance and various mechanical projects for the period beginning January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2025. Only the approved pre-qualified Mechanical Contractors will be eligible to submit bids in accordance with the various Capital projects. This pre-qualification applies to various Mechanical projects which may be bid directly to the DSBN by Mechanical Contractors as well as work to be tendered to General Contractors as Sub-Contractors. Respondent(s) who have previously been qualified to provide the services described herein, or who are currently performing work for the DSBN must also respond to this request to be considered for future work assignments. Mechanical Contractors will be pre-qualified under two different categories based on Mechanical project value: Category B - Medium projects between $25,000 and $600,000 Category C - Large projects over $600,000 The DSBN shall pre-qualify Mechanical Contractors for either or all categories based on the Contractor's relevant experience and their references provided. The following are representative of the services which may be required: a) Boiler system installation b) Ventilation system installation c) Plumbing upgrades d) Air conditioning system installation e) Compressed Air system installation This is not an all-inclusive list. Other types of repairs and services may be required.
