Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Mankato, Minnesota. Design plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of July 2, 2024, per owner a design team has been identified. A construction timeline has not been established yet as this is a predesign project. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to evaluate and select an A/E to assist the Owner in the performance of its obligations and enforcement of its rights during the design and/or construction of the Memorial Library Predesign/Masterplan located at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Minnesota State University, Mankato currently has a requested the State Legislature to approve funding to replace the Armstrong Hall academic building. The current predesign for the project includes refurbishing approximately 50,000 square feet of the Memorial Library for uses not limited to classrooms, study areas and collaborative learning spaces. In anticipation of the space impacts of the Armstrong Hall project on Memorial Library space, Minnesota State University, Mankato would like to create a master plan for the Memorial Library.
